LYTHAM FESTIVAL 2019
Pains were delighted to have been invited back to Lytham Festival by Cuffe and Taylor for not only their flagship event, but the 10 year anniversary of both the festival and the company itself, making it a very special date in the diary. This of course meant a change in strategy from delivering a show on the final day of the festival to delivering a spectacular display for each of the 5 nights, incorporating close proximity pyrotechnics and a traditional aerial display. For 6 days a crew of 5 operators worked away on site in order to be apart of Lytham Festivals finest year yet.
The festival hosted some massive names including Human League, The Stereophonics, Kylie Minogue, Rod Stewart, Sheridan Smith and Michael Ball. Careful planning incorporated a short ‘finale’ sequence to coincide with the end of each of these headlining sets and a mesmerising shell display to leave the audience amazed. The first sequence was fired from 2 cherry pickers directly behind the stage creating wonderful atmospheres in the final songs of each artist which was closely followed by a high impact, multi effect traditional display fired from the marshlands behind the fesival. This display was wonderfully choreographed to a live orchestral piece for the final show of the Hollywood Proms night, by hand!Go Back
