125th Anniversary of the GAA at Croke Park

2009

The Gaelic Athletic Association are the biggest sporting association in Ireland and in 2009 they celebrated their 125th anniversary at Croke Park, Irelands largest stadium. It was the first match of the new season, and only the 2nd ever under floodlights, and Pains Fireworks designed and produced a spectacular rooftop and pitchside display to mark the occasion. Using multiple positions placed around the circumference of the pitch and rooftop, the stadium was lit up with thousands of effects all fired in perfect sychronisation.
