Professional Outdoor>Fire Pictures
Firework devices and fire pictures are an elegant English fireworks tradition, often forgotten in favour of aerial firework displays. A company logo or message recreated as a dramatic feature in a display is one of the trademarks of Pains Fireworks.
We now use three distinct techniques to reproduce text and images.
Lancework
Lancework is the traditional firework technology used for creating images with hundreds of small coloured flares. The duration of these images is 60 seconds with a high impact ignition for a dramatic reveal. For indoor effects low smoke ice lances replace the traditional flares. Pains specialise in the production of large scale effects and have used cranes to fly 200sqm images, 60m above the ground.
Burning Rope
With duration of 5 minutes this technique can produce an image with the fluidity of a natural oil flame that can be the centre piece of an entire display. Metal compounds can be added to the burning oil to produce blue, green, red or violet fire. These coloured fires have a romantic and surreal quality.
Non-Neon Light Rope
This electrical illumination technique is used in conjunction with pyrotechnic effects and reproduces the image in brightly coloured non-neon light rope. These images are highly defined and ideal for repeat use, or as a pre or post show illumination.
